REALTORS: Your Client’s Trust Doesn’t End at Closing.

After more than 20 years around real estate, including my own years working as a Realtor and in real estate management, there is one thing I know for certain:
Real estate is built on trust.
A buyer trusts their Realtor with one of the biggest decisions of their life. They trust them with their questions, their fears, their finances, their family—and ultimately, the place they are going to call home.
That relationship shouldn’t suddenly end when the papers are signed and the keys are handed over.
I still remember what it was like to sit on the real estate side of the table. Your clients remember who answered the phone. Who explained things when they were overwhelmed. Who stepped in when something went wrong. And most importantly, who was still there after closing.
That is one reason I believe a home warranty belongs in the conversation on every real estate transaction.
The inspection can be excellent. The home can be beautiful. Everything can be working perfectly on closing day—and three weeks later, the air conditioning, water heater, refrigerator, plumbing, or another covered system or appliance can unexpectedly fail.
That is when a home warranty can become much more than another line in a contract.
It becomes one more way a Realtor can say:“I was thinking about you after the closing, too.”
That is also why the company standing behind the warranty matters.
ARW Home brings more than 17 years of experience, more than $100 million in home-warranty claims paid, nationwide coverage, and a network of thousands of service professionals. “ARW was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a #1 Best Overall Home Warranty Plan in 2024.”
For me, those aren’t simply numbers or awards. They represent the kind of established company I want standing behind the Realtors who trust me—and behind the homeowners those Realtors worked so hard to guide home.
But there is another piece of this that is very personal to me.
I have never believed relationships are 9-to-5.
When an agent works with me, they aren't simply placing a home-warranty order. They have our ARW Real Estate Support Team and me behind the transaction—before closing, at closing, and when questions come up afterward.
I know how much your reputation matters because I have been on your side of the business.
When you recommend someone to your client, your name is attached to that recommendation. I never forget that.
My goal is simple: to be someone you trust with the clients who trusted you.
Because a house is the transaction.
The people inside it are the reason we do what we do. ❤️
